Achieve A Successful by EDAN method

[Unpad.ac.id, 16/07] In achieving successful, someone demanded to always work hard and build the good confidence. He also required to remove negative energy and the dark side in himself so that the remaining is only positive energy and bright side. Both of them are trusted can develop someone’s confidence, and with that confidence can achieve a greater life and succeed.

How to practice self-confidence to achieve success is learned in the “Public Speaking Workshop” that presenting Ikhwan Sopa as a trainer. This activity is held exclusively by Skill Development Program Faculty of Economics (FE) Unpad on Thursday (16/07) in the Multimedia Room B1, Jln. Dipati Ukur 35 Bandung. Ikhwal Sopa is a motivator, trainer, public speaker, and Director of QA Communication, School of Motivational Communication.
Workshop followed by dozens of students FE Unpad this filled with a number game and unique methods in developing strong courage and confidence. Ikhwan Sopa began the workshop with listening a song and invited participants to sway with the song.
“Being a successful person must believe in themselves, may not be jaim (alert image, red.),” said Ikhwan when invite the training participants to enjoy the song. Ikhwan deliberately resemble his training with the concept of “have fun” or having fun. According to him, self-confidence is not an act of thinking. Confidence is indicated with expression and movement throughout the body.
Quoted Stephen Covey Statement in Seven habits, Ikhwan said that communication is important skills in life. Why? It is because humans have never separated from the activities of communication, externally (with others) and internal (with him self). However, Ikhwan said, the majority of people cannot afford to run both of them with confidence. As a result, people tends to underestimate himself.
“To synchronize both of them, need the management. Therefore, I created the EDAN method, that is E for energy. D for Dignity or respects itself. A for anticipation, that means we need to do preparations to anticipate things that are not desired, and N for nothing to lose. After maximize energy, Dignity, and anticipation, we devout only result in God, “said Ikhwan.
Ikhwan also reminded that in building self-confidence, a person does not need a lot of thinking. He only needs to calculate the 1, 2, 3, in the heart and do. “The longer we delay, the more fear that eventually we really can not do it. Just do it! “Ikhwan firmed it.
Dean of FE Unpad, Prof.Dr. Hj. Ernie Tisnawati Sule, SE., M.Si. When opening the event said that many students have good hard skills, but not supported with the soft skills. “While hard skills are applied, many people are not ready because restrained with soft skills problems that are not honed,” she said.
She believes, through public speaking training is conducted in her faculty can hone the ability of students communication skills. “From cannot to be can, who does not dare to be brave, and who does not believe themselves to be confident.
