Unpad Swimming Unit Won Overall Champion in IRAPTSI IX

Tim Unit Renang Unpad yang berlaga di Invitasi Renang Antar Perguruan Tinggi Seluruh Indonesia IX di ITB, 31 Januarin 2015 lalu.*

[Unpad.ac.id, 4/02/2016] Unpad Swimming Unit (URU) is the grand champion at the Swimming Invitation Inter University of Indonesia Camphionship (IRAPTSI) IX that was organized by Bandung Institute of Technology Swimming and Water Polo Unit in Sasana Sports Ganesha (Saraga) ITB, Sunday (31/01). In addition, one of the athletes Unpad, Reviana Aulia (Faculty of Agriculture class of 2015), won Best Women Swimmers.

Unpad Swimming Unit (URU) Team participated at the Swimming Invitation Inter University of Indonesia Camphionship (IRAPTSI) IX in ITB January 31, 2016.*

IRAPTSI is a national championship, with a number of universities throughout Indonesia participating. In these competitions, URU won 24 medals from various branches of the race.

“Since we have had regular exercise before the competition, all our hard work yield good result and is not in vain. URU made total of 299 points and managed to achieve the grand champion; Institut Teknologi Bandung is ranked 2nd and the Jakarta State University was ranked first,” said Chairman of URU, Lutfi Rahman, in a press release to PR Unpad.
