“In my mind, since the first day in Faculty of Medicine, it was a blessing from God. So I have to do my best in this faculty. When I’m doing my best, God also gives me the best, “said Vindy regarding this award. Vindy graduated on the third session of graduation ceremony, at Graha Sanusi Hardjadinata, Wednesday (3/02).

Vindy graduated as Bachelor of Medicine from Universitas Padjadjaran with a GPA of 3.98 during period of study less than four years. She graduated in January 2016 and then with a thesis entitled Correlation between Gross Motor Function Classification System and Communication Function Classification System in Cerebral Palsy Children.

Born in Bandung, January 11, 1995, she is also deeply grateful for this award. “I believe that in this world there are people who are smarter than me. But I am happy (of being the best graduate), “she said.

Vindy feels she was not overly studious. She did not enjoy hours of continuous study. She claimed to always have been balancing my time between studying, playing with friends, organizing, and doing her hobbies of singing and basketball.

In Faculty of Medicine, she is active in the Medical Music Symphony, the Union of Christian Students and faculty Basketball club. In addition, off-campus Vindy is also active in a number of organizations related to medicine and music. Vindy also actively participates in competition related to his hobby. One of her accomplishments are for her to become the first winner of Jatinangor Idol in 2014.

“But any spare time must be used to study,” said the first daughter of two siblings from Bana Miguna and M.F Susanti Handayani.

Vindy’s learning method, besides reading and practicing, is discussion with a friend. In fact, free time when waiting for basketball training schedule is used to discuss course material with their friends.

“If it is something I like and will not interfere with my goal of becoming a doctor, I just do it,” said Vindy who aspires to be a Specialist Medical Doctor of Medical Rehab or Surgery.

To study in Faculty of Medicine has been Vindy’s childhood dream. This is mainly because both of her parents are doctors. In addition, she also believes that being a doctor can benefit others.

Being a doctor, Vindy does not want to be a doctor who is only focused on the patient’s disease alone. She also wants to be a doctor who has consultation with her patients. Thus, as a doctor Vindy can understand the source of the patient’s problem.

“I do not want to just to treat people. I also want to treat their soul, to be completely healed, “said Vindy who wants to become a doctor is useful not only for Indonesia, but also worldwide.

To become an outstanding student, Vindy has a principle to always have a purpose. Despite a lot of activities, do not forget the original purpose. This is the message she’s giving her friends and juniors in the faculty.

“Remember again our goal on our first day in FK. Do not move forward but missing the point, busy with everything else. Our goal is to be a good doctor, “she said.*
