Before implementing the program, the village is said to be left behind due to the difficulty of access to communications and information. To that end, initial efforts are in cooperation with PT. Furthermore, Prof. Ernie said, opening access to information technology aims to make the villagers Gegempalan in the loop of the information. Another advantage is that the opening of access to information technology is also the beginning of the construction of the village of SME Digital, a digital-based entrepreneurial development program by PT. Telkom, in the village of Gegempalan.
“With Internet access, we can also develop the information system of the village. All reports can be through the village of Internet access,” added Prof. Ernie.
Prof. Ernie also invited entrepreneurs in the village Gegempalan to develop entrepreneurial SMEs through various counseling. It is expected that businesses can interact more with the outside world, so it became the start of product development in the future.

So we introduce to them about the economic activities of sharia, “he continued.
As coordinator of the Center of Excellence SOE Universitas Padjadjaran, Prof. Ernie said, this program is not only working with state-owned telecommunications and banking sectors alone. Another program that has been done is socialization related to the National Health Insurance program by BPJS.
On the occasion, Rector said that, through the program ASUP Jabar, the development of human resource capacity becomes the goal of Unpad.
