At the Age of 15, Rein Vidya Banafsha has Become Unpad Medical Student
[unpad.ac.id, 8/8/2018] Rein Vidya Banafsha became the youngest new student at Unpad 2018/2019 academic year. She is from Tasikmalaya (115 km South East of Bandung) who was accepted at the Faculty of Medicine Unpad and currently 15 years 10 months and 5 days old.
Being met during the administrative registration process at Grha Sanusi Hardjadinata Unpad, Jalan Dipati Ukur No. 35, Bandung, Tuesday (7/8), Rein revealed, since She was in junior high school, She had attended the acceleration class. She also completed her studies at Tasikmalaya 5 Junior High School in just 2 years.
Entering SMAN 1 Tasikmalaya, Rein also attended the acceleration class and graduated in two years. When participating in the Joint Selection for State University Entrance Examination (SBMPTN), Rein firmly chose the Unpad Medical Study program in the first choice.
“It would be hard to learn Medicine, there would be a lot of time to be sacrificed. But, I’m ready, ” Rein said.
The reason why She chose it becaus of it’s free of charge. She claimed to be ready to serve as a doctor in any area, both in West Java and outside.
Besides being ready to take part in academic activities, the daughter of Pian Sopyan Nurochman and Nenden Diana wanted to be active in organizational and student activities. She joined the Asian Medical Student Association (AMSA) in the Faculty of Medicine of Unpad.
Rein has hobbies of drawing and singing and desired to join the Student Choir of Unpad. “The main priority is education, but I have the opportunity to be active in student organization and I won’t miss it,” added Rein who was born in Tasikmalaya on October 3, 2002.
After graduated as a doctor later, Rein plans to continue her study to become a neurologist.
In addition to Rein, Najmah Shafa Zahirah was also noted to be a new student of Unpad in the Dentistry Program at the age of 15 years and 10 months 24 days. *
