“Don’t miss this registration step,” said Unpad Rector Deputy for Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Arry Bainus, M.A., when contacted by Unpad Public Relations, Monday (6/8).

Dr. Arry said, prospective students were considered to resign if they did not register. Because, the registration process is the entry point to become students formally.

The registration will give them some official kit as part of Unpad academic community such as Student Card (KTM), alma mater jacket, and various things related to procession of New Student Admission (PMB).

However, it tolerates prospective students who can not register because of illness or urgent needs bt attaching a letter or proof of statement from the authorities. “Don’t let it be without any information at all,” He added.

Considering the importance of this process, Dr. Arry appealed prospective students to ensure the schedule and prepare the required documents. The schedule of prospective student of SBMPTN path is based on their Faculty.

Related to complaints for single tuition (UKT) and economic affirmation based student admission program (Bidikmisi), Unpad has prepared special officers at the help desks at the time of registration. Dr. Arry emphasized that the service is not to propose a suspension of UKT payments.

“The officers are not authorized to postpone payments. So that prospective students to pay it in installment as much as possible with the scheme detail can be delivered to the help desk officers,” said Dr. Arry.

Besides, Dr. Arry also appealed respectable parents not to overload the registration area so that the process runs smoothly. “Let the prospective students carry out their own responsibilities,” added Dr. Arry.

The registration is also required for grouping new students in the Joint Preparation Stage (TPB). Each group in this program consists of new students from various faculty in Unpad.

TPB procession itself  consists of serial activities in university and faculty level that will be held on August 27 to 31.
