Assisting Post-Disaster Recovery, Tadulako Palu University Students Are Welcome to Study a While in Unpad

[unpad.ac.id, 5/10/2018] Unpad openly accepts Tadulako University students (Untad) who wish to attend the sit-in college program at Unpad. This is in accordance with the agreement of the Rector of Unpad with the other State University leaders who are members of the Indonesian State University Rectors Council (MRPTNI) and the Indonesian Rectors Forum (FRI).

“We want to help seriously so that the education of students at Tadulako University is not interrupted,” said Deputy Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Arry Bainus, M.A. when met in his office, Friday (5/10).

Untad students who want to take part in the sit-in program at Unpad, are expected to show documents in the form of cover letters from Untad and valid student card of Untad. The documents are submitted to the Directorate of Education and Student Affairs at the Jatinangor campus Rectorate Building.

Dr. Arry explained that the students of the sit-in program can attend lectures at Unpad in accordance with the study program they are studying in Untad. Unpad will facilitate the learning process in accordance with the prevailing academic regulations at Unpad, and the grades at the end of the semester will still be issued by Untad.

Not only attending academic activities, Dr. Arry also hoped that Untad students could actively participate in student activities at Unpad. To all Unpad academics, Dr. Arry also appealed to be able to receive students of this program well.

“They are guests who must be respected and appreciated,” said Dr. Arry.

In addition to being free of tuition fees, Unpad will also provide free dormitory facilities for Untad students who take part in the program.

“We provide a place to stay here, live together in the dormitory. Free your tuition fees, and provide them with scholarships,” Unpad Rector Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad said during a dhikr and joint prayers for victims of the Lombok, Palu, Donggala and Sigi disasters in the Grand Mosque of Unpad, Jatinangor, Friday (5/10). *
