[unpad.ac.id, 11/19/2019] Rector of Unpad has officially launched the mobile application of TS-CDC (Tracer Study & Career Development Center) Unpad at Grha Sanusi Hardjadinata Unpad, Dipati Ukur Street Number 35 Bandung, Monday (19/11) . This application is one of Unpad’s efforts in bridging its alumni with various industry and business actors.
The launch was carried out by Unpad Rector Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad, accompanied by Telkomsel Director of Human Capital Management (HCM) Irfan A. Tachrir and Head of the Office of Tracer Study and Career Development Center of Unpad Dr. Rosaria Mita Amalia, M.Hum., M.Sc.. The event was also attended by a number of university and faculty leaders in Unpad.
In addition to bridging Unpad alumni with various industry players and businesses, the Rector said that the application was also useful for increasing Unpad’s educational capacity. According to the Rector, the application can be used to evaluate the curriculum, by increasing sensitivity to the needs of the working world.
“This launching is actually a powerful facility for faculty members,” said the Rector.
In addition, another thing that needs to be considered through the TS-CDC application is about the development of the character aspects of the socionetwork. Character education, according to the Rector, is one of the roles of every educational institution, including higher education institutions.
“First, faculty members must be able to use this to upgrade the substance of the academic. The second is how this facility also upgrades the character of its students, “said the Rector.
The TS-CDC Unpad application can be downloaded through the Google Play Store by filling in your personal data. In addition to job information, the application also provides information on job vacancies, scholarships, and a number of trainings.
In developing the application, TS-CDC collaborates with Telkomsel as a partner. The Director of HCM Telkomsel Irfan A. Tachrir explained that Unpad’s efforts in conducting tracer study and career development through digital applications were very much in accordance with the programs currently implemented by Telkomsel. Irfan is also committed to continuing to support Unpad’s efforts to develop a digital platform. *
