Teachers Must Encourage Students to Continue Study to Higher Education

[unpad.ac.id, 02/14/2019] Unpad held an activity “Socialization of New Student Admissions” at the Agricultural Research, Development an Training Center of the Faculty of Agriculture of Unpad in Ciparay, Baleendah, Bandung Regency, Wednesday (2/13). The socialization was attended by 73 teachers from the Nahdatul Ulama Teachers Association (Pergunu) of West Java.

This socialization was attended by Unpad Deputy Rector for Governance, Planning and Information Systems Dr. Sigid Suseno, M. Hum., Head of the Unpad Public Communication Office Syauqy Lukman, M.S.M., and the LTMPT resource person who is also a lecturer at Unpad Public Administration study program Slamet Usman Ismanto, M.Sc.

In addition, there was also the Director of Student Affairs of the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Research and Technology, Dr. Didin Wahidin, M.Pd., and Chairperson of the West Java Pergunu Region Dr. Saepulloh, M.Pd.

On this occasion, a brief overview of Unpad’s profile, new student admission mechanism, and information on SNMPTN, SBMPTN and Unpad independent pathways were presented.

“In 2019, Unpad will open 25% of independent pathway. However, not all study programs are opened., “said Slamet.

Didin Wachidin also encouraged teachers to motivate their students to be able to continue their education to a higher level by choosing a study program that suits their interests and needs. *
