Unpad Faculty of Communication Students Brought 4 Championship Titles at the Comminfest 2019, Jogjakarta

Students of the Faculty of Communication Science at the University of Padjadjaran brought 4 championship titles at the "Comminfest 2019" event held at Atma Jaya University, Yogyakarta, May 9-11. *

Students of the Faculty of Communication Science at the University of Padjadjaran brought 4 championship titles at the “Comminfest 2019” event held at Atma Jaya University, Jogjakarta, May 9-11. *

The “Comminfest 2019” is an annual event held by UAJ Jogjakarta. The activity which carried the theme “Destination, Develop Tourism in Communion-action” competes for five categories, including “Artiwara”, “Broaday”, “RAC”, “The Prime”, and “Lumens”.

The Faculty of Communication Sciences of Unpad itself sent 10 teams to those 4 categories. In each category, Unpad delegations from Faculty of Communication Science won the champion.

In the “Broaday” competition, there were two Unpad Fikom teams competed. The two teams were the “Alvin & Friends” team consisting of three Journalistic students: Alvin Fajri, Alvin Rizkiansyah, and Damar; and the “Awakening” team consisting of three Communication Science students: Rode Akhaya Sidauruk, Rika Pebrina Tarigan, and Monica Mulya Tjipta.

The “Broaday” is representative of the “Atma Jaya Broadcasting Network” study group. In this category, the “Alvin & Friends” team won first place.

While the “RAC” competition was a radio broadcasting competition representing the “Atma Jaya Radio” study group. In this competition, Fikom Unpad passed three teams, namely “Sunshine Radio” which consisted of Wilfrida Brunoli Rosari (Communication Science) and Rebecca Eunike Siahaan (Communication Management); and the “Advanced” team consisting of two Communication Management students: Aliya Cantika Ramadhina and Grisella Dita Fridayanti.

The next team was “Kopi Klotok” consisting of two Communication Studies students: Savero Karamiveta Dwipayana and Fidela Alifa Shabrina. In the eyes of this competition, the “Klotok Coffee” team won third place.

The third category, “The Prime”, is a public relations competition. In this competition, Unpad Faculty of Communication Sciences sent 4 teams, all of which were from Public Relations study programs.

The three teams are, “Santabe” which consists of Siti Choerunnisa, Herke Regitadika, and Amyra Adelia; the “Andromeda” team consisting of Adisty Sekar Hadayani, Aisya Rihadati, and Shafira Nada Fathia; “Maheswara” consisting of Muhammad Alfin, Evelyne Valencia, and Tiara Jasmine; and the “Ganessa” team consisting of Nurul Putri Hafifah, Farah, and Sheryl Nadia Klarissa.

The “Ganessa” team won second place in the “The Prime” competition. In addition, the Regitadika Herke managed to obtain the title of Best Speaker.

While the “Lumens” competition is advertising competitions. In this competition, Unpad Faculty of Communication passed a team, namely “Kumala” consisting of two Communication Management students, namely Amiralina Maharani Permata Negoro and Gisela Desiree Primasti. This team won third place. *
