Faculty of Communication Sciences Universitas Padjadjaran has achieved many things whether in international, national, regional, and Unpad level. They are achieved by lecturers, students, and the faculty as institution. The greatest achievement gained by Faculty of Communication Sciences as an institution is “The Best Universities School of Communications” from MIX Marketing magazine (SWA Media Group), which was a birthday present in the faculty’s 50th year.

Lecturers from Faculty of Communication Sciences also gained achievements, among them is the award given to Dean of Faculty of Communication Sciences, Dr. Deddy Mulyana, M.A., as The Most Alumni Inspiration from Monash University Australia. Besides that, some of the other lecturers also gained award, whether as academicians or state servants.

The same thing is shown by students. Some of the students contributed winnings, such as won 1st place in Public Relations Campaign Competition and won 2nd place in Public Relations Week Debate Competition hold by International Public Relations Association. In the marketing communication field, students won 3rd place in Nutrisari Street Marketing Competition. Then a gold medal in Iklan Layang Kencana West Java also proved student achievement in advertising profession development. In international level, a student achieved Best News Agency Award in Nanyang Technological University Model United Nations in Singapore.

Other achievements by students from Faculty of Communication Sciences are as 1st winner in Young Agricultural Writer Award 2009 hold by Indonesian Republic Agricultural Department. There was also a student who achieved the first winner in Chick lit Novel Writing Competition 2009, hold by Lingkar Pena. Then in the Quran Content Scientific Debate in English MTQ University Students XI Indonesia, Faculty of Communication Sciences students succeed in becoming the first winner.
