All graduates from Faculty of Communication Sciences, whether the diploma programs or undergraduates, are given basic communication skills to speak in public, write news or articles or release and reports, also listening skill. As a communication men, the ability to learn and fast adaption in new environments is a must have for all graduates, as it resulted from social awareness.
In diploma level, technical communication fields are their main competence, including radio or television program production, keeping good relations with public, negotiate, and making catalogues..
Undergraduate program graduates will have the knowledge in planning, conducting, and evaluating communication, whether in public relations, journalism, communication management, or information and library sciences. Through this knowledge, S1 graduates are expected to compete in communication work place which gets more competitive each time.
Among the career that alumni can choose are journalists and print and electronic media professionals, presenter and broadcaster, public relations officer, advertising professionals whether media planner, account executive, advertising communication, librarian and information system expert. Besides that, Faculty of Communication Sciences Graduates can also have a career in society development especially in development programs socialization, communication consultant, trainer or training expert, human resource development, communication strategy planner, and media consultant.
