The activities in student activity development in Unpad Faculty of Fishery and Marine Sciences are basically grouped as follow:

Intellectual and Scientific Activity
This program and student activity aims to plant scientific attitude, stimulate creativity and innovation, improve research and scientific writing ability, profession understanding, and students cooperation in team, whether in the university or with other universities both domestic and foreign. This activity forms: Student Achiever; student Scientific Writing Training; Student Scientific Writing Competition on Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, education, art, and living environment; Student Creativity Program; National Students Scientific Week; Student Critical Thinking Competition (KPKM); Studium General;  Soft Skill (entrepreneurship, technopreneurship workshop) and other related activities.

Interest Talent, and Capability
The program and student activity aims to improve students ability in practical management, organization, and grow appreciation on sport and art, scouting, defending country, nature lover, journalism, and social service. The activities can be in form; Student Management Skill Training (LKMM); National Student Sports Week; National Students Art Week; National Scouting; Nature Lovers Student; Campus Publishing; Entrepreneurship and other similar activities.

Student Welfare
The program aims to improve students’ physical, mental, and spiritual welfare. The activity can be in form: Scholarship, Student Boardinghouse; Student Canteen; Student Cooperatives (Kopma); Clinic; Musabaqoh Tilawati Qur’an (MTQ); Church Choir Party (Pesparawi), and other similar activities.

Social Awareness
The program aims to develop community service, plant sense of unity and togetherness, grow love for country and environment, awareness of living in the society, nation, and country. The activity can be in form: Drugs Abuse Education Training, Target Villages, Student Dialogs, and other similar activities.

Supporting Activities

1.     The program aims to improve lecturers’ attitude and capacity in their involvement, guiding student activities. The activity can be in form: Student Guide Orientation Development Trainer (PP OPPEK); Student Management Skill Trainer Training (PP LKMM); Student Intellectual Activity Supervisor Training (PPPM), and other similar activities.

2.     The program aims to improve facility and infrastructure for student activities. This activity can be in form: Student Information System Development, Student Activity Facility and Infrastructure procurement and maintenance, and other similar activities.

The student institution in Unpad Faculty of Fishery and Marine Sciences are Student Representatives Body (BPM) which plays the legislative role and Student Executive Board (BEM) functioning as executive.
