Faculty of Law Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) originally named Faculty of Law and Society Science (FHPM), was officially established based on the Indonesian Government Regulation No. 37 year 1957, about Establishment of Unpad, on the 24th September 1957. Faculty of Law Unpad is one of the four founding faculties in Unpad which also gave basis identity for Unpad in the world of education. This was manifested in Unpad Main Scientific Pattern (PIP) determination themed “Build Law and Environment Glory in National Development.” In the process, PIP was actualized in international law development which became a reference for law education in all law faculties in Indonesia. Law Clinical Laboratory formation was also one of Unpad Faculty of Law characteristics.
The curriculum at Unpad Faculty of Law has been developed into Student Centered Learning (SCL) through law expertise subjects. The aim is to improve the quality of graduates from Unpad Faculty of Law.
Currently, the Faculty of Law Unpad has developed an Academic Information System (SIAKAD) and Library Information System (SIPERPUS) to improve service in higher education three duties (tridharma), also spread of information though official website to make it easier for Unpad Faculty of Law academics to access information.
