Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 102333/S on 22 October 1958, and instated by the first president of Indonesia (Dr. Ir. Soekarno) on 17 November 1959.
