Unpad Faculty of Medicine often accept awards from national or international institutions. Among the achievements are as follow:
• Prof.Dr A. Himendra Wargahadibrata,dr.,SpAn-KIC,KNA as sebagai Doctor of Philosophy Education Affairs from Universitas Kebangsaan Malaysia.
• Rovina,dr.,SpPD., PhD succeed in “Young Investigation Awards-AFES” during Asia Pacific Endocrinology Society congress 2009.
• Herry Herman,dr.,PhD received “The Best European Molecular Biology Organization Award” in 2009.
Students from Unpad Faculty of Medicine also gained various achievements in national and international level. Among the achievements are:
• Won 1st place band competition FORSI 2009 in university level.
• Won 1st place chess competition FORSI 2009 in university level.
• Best Essay PIM 2009 in university level.
• Best Essay LKMM (Student Management Skill Practice) 2009 in ISMKI(Indonesian Medical Student Senates Association) 2nd area.
• Won 1st place Critical Writing Stove Ex Competition 2009 in ISMKI EXPO.
• Won 1st place Paper Competition in AMSA International Congress 2009.
• The Best Delegation on Harvard Project for Asia and International Relations in Harvard University United States of America, in 2009.
• Won 1st Place student achiever 2010 in university level.
The Faculty of Medicine Unpad had initiated a medical education event which later being adopted as a national scope regular event called PEPKI or Pertemuan dan Expo Pendidikan Kedokteran Indonesia (Indoneisa Meeting and Medical Education Expo)
In 2009 the Faculty has proved its serious intention on the improvement of medical education in Indonesia which successfully implemented as the host of Asian Medical Education Conference – the 5th Asia Medical Education Association (AMEA Conference). The event was never held in Indonesia before.
