Faculty of Nursing was established on 8 June 2005, based on the Decree of Rector No.1020/J06/Kep/2005. Faculty of Nursing was a development of the Nursing academic program in Faculty of Medicine Universitas Padjadjaran which was established since 1994 based on the Decree of Rector Unpad No.145a/PT06H/Kep/C/94 on 1 March 1994, strengthen with the Decree of Directorate General of Higher Education No. 200/DIKTI/Kep/1998 on 18 June 1998.
Vision:
To be a nursing higher education institution as a center of the development of nursing science and professional that is able to compete globally in the excellence of critical nursing and community nursing.
Mission:
- To carry out education professionally managed, effective, efficient, and transparent as well as to produce graduate with high capability as scientists who can compete globally, having etiquette, and based on law as well as environmentally minded.
- To develop scientific research on nursing for scientific and technological development of national nursing.
- To carry out community services by developing an integrated system of professional nursing service within community.
- To develop professional standard of nursing together with related professional organization and institution.
- To develop professional nursing service in accordance with the social culture.
- To link nationally and regionally in the field of nursing including in education, research, and community services.
There are 52 lecturers in Unpad Faculty of Nursing.
