Facilities and infrastructure in Faculty of Psychology Universitas Padjadjaran are coordinated by Vice Dean II. TO support that section, facilities and infrastructure are managed by the General Subsection and Supply, headed by the Chief of General and Supply Section.
Since 1996, Unpad Faculty of Psychology occupies two buildings which are located in Jatinangor and followed with additional building in 2008, as following:
- 1st building, consists of 2 floors with total width reaching 1,700m2
- 2nd building, consists of 3 floors with total width reaching 2,400m2
- 3rd building, consists of 3 floors (still in reconstruction)
Besides the one in Jatinangor, Unpad Faculty of Psychology also uses 2 buildings in Ir. H. Juanda Street 438b Bandung. The first building is used for Bureau of Service and Psychology Innovation (BPIP), while the second building was established i 2003 and used for Psychology Profession Magister Program.
Below are the facilities and infrastructure in detail:
Lecture Buildings
lectures for Psychology Undergraduate programs are carried in the campus in Jatinangor. There are three buildings with 16 classrooms and 4 seminar rooms. For comforting learning and teaching activities, the classrooms and seminar rooms are fully air conditioned, also facilitated with multimedia equipments and hotspot service for internet connection.
Psychology Profession Master Program are carried in the campus in Ir. H. Juanda Street 438b. There are two buildings there with 6 classrooms, 2 seminar/trial rooms, 6 student discussion rooms, and a waiting room designed for the students’ comfort.
Psychometric and Information System Laboratory
located on the 2nd floor of 1st building in the campus at Jatinangor, the laboratory provides 40 computers with supporting internet access and competent administrator. Besides that, there are also supporting equipments like printer, scanner, etc. The laboratory facilitates students for:
1. Information need through internet connection.
2. Reference searching through e-journal.
3. Training requirements related with computer use (ex: SPSS training, Ms. Excel, Mc. Power Point, and so on).
4. Data processing, whether in learning and teaching evaluation or paper and thesis making.
5. Developing psychology measuring tools.
6. Realization of internal information network (intranet).
7. Data processing through Optical Mark Reading (OMR)
8. Faculty of Psychology information system development.
Psychology Laboratory
The facility is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the 2nd building in the campus at Jatinangor. Psychology Laboratory supports all student practicum activities. There are 40 individual practicum rooms and 8 big observation room completed with CCTV, one-way mirror, also other supporting practicum tools and multimedia designed for learning process in improving students professional skill.
Faculty of Psychology Library
The Psychology Undergraduate Program Library is located on the 1st floor of the 1st building in the campus at Jatinangor. It’s 297 m2 wide and provides the following services:
1. Psychology reference books
2. Thesis
3. Seminar papers
4. Journal
5. News papers and magazines
6. Information in CD-ROM
7. Internet service through display computer and hot spot.
8. Air conditioned reading room.
The Psychology Profession Master Program library is located in the 2nd building in Psychology Profession Master Campus at Ir. H. Juanda Street 438B, providing psychology reference books, journal, internet service, and hot spot accessible by all students in Psychology Master Program.
Other facilities:
Among other supporting facilities is the student activities room (BEM, BPM, Student Centre), sport field, canteen, also mosque for academic civics in Faculty of Psychology.
