Description:

Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Unpad formed on September 1 1959 by SK Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 85633/S as the efforts of FKG Unpad Formation Committee consisting of Prof. Dr. R. Moestopo, Prof. Soeria Soemantri, MPH., R. Soeriadiredja, dr. Chasan Boesoeri, and Prof. Dr. Naubaeuer.

Since 2003, FKG Unpad has opened Dentistry International Class opened by applying student active learning with a problem based learning method.  Its students come from abroad, mostly from Malaysia. In 2003, FKG Unpad also opened Dental Hospital (RSGM) in Sekeloa campus which is the further development of the Student Work Clinic.
