Universitas Padjadjaran’s Faculty of Agroindustrial Technology (Indonesian: Fakultas Teknologi Industri Pertanian, or FTIP) originated as the Department of Agricultural Technology, a study program in the Faculty of Agriculture that was established in 1983. In 2005, the program separated and became a its own faculty.

True to its name, the faculty was established to facilitate studies and development in agroindustrial technology. Thus, Unpad FTIP it remains steadfast thanks to its contribution to fulfilling the demands of undergraduate students wishing to engage not only in agroindustrial technology, but also the F&B industry and agriculture in general. 

Unpad’s Faculty of Agroindustrial Technology continues to strive for progress and the advancement of both its fields of study and the Faculty itself. FTIP’s vision is to develop into a higher education institution that is committed towards excellence in both the science and application of agroindustrial technology. In 2024, Unpad FTIP hopes to improve its regional, national, and international competitiveness, as well as its social impact.

Testing Services Laboratory

Unpad FTIP Testing Services Laboratory was officially established on January 2, 2014 by Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Agroindustrial Technology No. 25/UN6.N/KP/2013. The Laboratory is the result of a merger between the Food Testing Services Laboratory, Department of Agroindustrial Technology and the Post Harvest and Processing Technology Laboratory, Department of Agroindustrial Engineering and Management.
