Universitas Padjadjaran’s Faculty of Nursing (Fakultas Keperawatan, or FKep) was initially a part of the Faculty of Medicine as the Nursing Study Program. On June 8, 2005, the faculty was established as the Faculty of Nursing Science with Rector’s Decree No.1020/J06/Kep/KP/2005 and the Decree of Directorate General of Higher Education No. 1827/D/T/2005. In 2013, the faculty changed its name to Faculty of Nursing in accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture No. 46 of 2013 regarding The Organization and Working Procedures of Universitas Padjadjaran.
The Faculty of Nursing offers one study program at three levels, namely the undergraduate Nursing Study Program, the Nursing Professional Program, and the Nursing Study Program for a Master’s degree. As the second oldest nursing school in Indonesia, the faculty is committed to produce high quality human resources in its field. FKep’s education system employs a Competency-Based Curriculum (KBK), with the learning models that are applied including group discussions, problem-based learning, project-based learning, and discovery learning.
Unpad’s Faculty of Nursing aims to realize its vision of becoming a world-renowned faculty of nursing research and education. The Faculty also aims to positively impact society by improving the level of health and quality of life through holistic, integrated, and sustainable ways in 2024.
