[Unpad.ac.id, 28/11/2013] Unpad Food Industrial Technology student union successfully organized the fifth “Univation of Padjadjaran.” The 2013’s Univation came up with the theme of “Foodnesia,” encompassing three series of events, namely Entrepreneurship Seminar, Business Proposal Competition, and Food Festival.
Entrepreneurship Seminar was held on Tuesday (11/19) in Bale Santika, Jatinangor. Acted as speakers at the seminar were Kiki Gumelar, the owner of Chocodot Garut, Riyan Satria Hutama, the CEO of the Milky Way Project, and Genta, one of the winners of last year’s Univation.
The next day, also in the same place, Business Proposal Competition was held. Many of the participants came from various universities in Indonesia, coming up with various product innovations that impressed the entire audience and also the judges.
The participants were Biting Vege (Universitas Brawijaya), Bumi Unyu (Universitas Padjadjaran), King Bans’ Dunut (Diponegoro University), Maryati (Universitas Padjadjaran), Jaka Tule (Universitas Brawijaya), Mushroom Jelegur (Universitas Padjadjaran), Kampoeng Jamoer (University Telkom), Cassava chips Crispy 6 Saudara (Bandung Institute of Technology), Cake Pandavas (Brawijaya University), Markas Ubi (Trisakti University), OCD (Universitas Padjadjaran), Puci (ESQ Business School), Snackbaryeum (Universitas Padjadjaran), Taboer (Prasetya Mulya Business School), Vege L Or Kriuk (University of Bandar Lampung), Instant Noodles “Woless” (Diponegoro University), Myoghurt (Unika Soegijapranata Semarang), Sushilogi (Universitas Brawijaya), and Enrice (Prasetya Mulya Business School).
At the main event on Thursday (11/21), Food Festival was held at the South Gate of Unpad campus, Jatinangor. There were 20 booths exhibiting each of the participant’s products, along with 18 booths of other products, which were sold out in just a few hours. On the occasion, the winners of this year’s Business Proposal Competition were also announced. “Enrice” from Prasetya Mulya Business School won the first place. The second place was won by “Cake Pandavas” from Universitas Brawijaya and “Snackbaryeum” from Unpad at the third place.
As for the Food Fashion Photography competition (FFP), the first place was won by Yuli Kartini. Fauzal won the second place, and Rianti Anissa at the third place. The event was also enlivened by music performances from Delicious, 98 akustik, Seiring Waktu Berjalan, Karkara, Dild, dan Olegun ‘n De Gobs. *
