[Unpad.ac.id, 30/12/2013] The role of Sundanese youth is considerably important in saving its arts from extinction. One way of doing so is organizing art performance, like the one recently held by the Public Relation Students, class of 2011, “AKSARA-Aksi Sasarengan Urang Sunda” (Collective Action of Sundanese).
The event, with its tagline Sunda Kiwari Keur Sunda Baring Supagi was held in Dago Tea House Theater in Bandung on Saturday (21/12), performing art groups from high schools in Bandung, namely SMP YAS performing peacock dance, SMPN 3 Bandung performing angklung music performance, Saung Udjo with its Arumba Cilik, Magic tricks and Story Telling by Taufik Faturahman, and modern theatrical performance from Anka Andika Production (AAP). In addition, culinary products were also presented in the event.
Enthusiasm is clearly shown by the audience, some of whom came from afar, like Makassar, South Sulawesi, who were mesmerized by all performances that the event hosted,
