[Unpad.ac.id, 19/1/2016] Universitas Padjadjaran held Technical Guidance for Electronic Office Systems or e-Office SIAT starting on Tuesday (19/01) until Monday (25/01) in Computer Laboratory of Faculty of Nursing Unpad, Jatinangor. The e-office implementation is in accordance with Rector Regulation No. 1 Year 2016 re Electronic Office Systems.
This event was attended by Head of Division Subdivision in Unpad, Secretary of university leaders and faculty, Mail Administrative staffs in Rectorate or faculty, and correspondence administrative staffs/Study Program Secretary. The event was opened by Director of Technology and Information Systems, Drs. Gatot Riwi., M.Si. During the opening, Gatot said efficiency should be achieved with implementation of e-Office; it will improve the Unpad staffs’ ability of information technology.
With e-Office, Unpad staff can perform more optimally, especially in terms of speed and sureness of correspondence. “The speed of correspondence will be achieved, along with the delivery status.”said Gatot.
In addition he said that one of the benefits is the tracking facility. “With e-Office, we can monitor whether certain mail has been received or processed,” said Gatot.
The material presented in the Technical Guidance activities is the socialization of Rector Regulation No. 1 Year 2016 re Office System Electronic Filing by Head of Archival Unit Dr. Nandang Alam, socialization of Electronic Office Systems SOP by Head of Governance, Administration and Law Division, Dra. Heni Suryaningsih, M.I.Kom., and technical guidance of e-office implementation and mail flow and tracking simulation by IT teams and facilitators. *
