[Unpad.ac.id, 28/01/2016] ] Universitas Padjadjaran held another Socialization of SNMPTN and SBMPTN in other region in West Java. On Wednesday, (27/01), the socialization was held in Kuningan and Cirebon Regency.
Socialization in Kuningan Regency was conducted by Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP), Dr. R. Widya Setiabudi Sumadinata, SIP., SSi., MT., MSi (Han), Head of Academic Administration Bureau Drs. Sudarma, MM, Head of Selection and Registration Sub-Division, Ahmad Baehaqi, S.Si, MT, and team of Admission Selection for Universitas Padjadjaran, Dr. Dudi, S.Pt., M.Si. This event was held in Hall of SMA 1 Jalaksana, Kuningan Regency.
During the event, in addition to introduce Unpad admission process, the socialization team also introduce new study program, namely Veterinary Program. “The Veterinary study program is opened this year, with quota of 25 SNMPTN (students) and 25 SBMPTN,” said Ahmad Baehaqi.
Meanwhile, Dudi also reminded participants of the socialization of about the importance of filling the PDSS correctly as requirement of SNMPTN entry. Dudi said that PDSS filling the form and its verification could be done until next February 20, 2016.
“Keep track of PDSS form filling at your school. Do not forget to fill PDSS correctly and on-time, “said Dudi.
In addition to filling and verifying PDSS timely, tricks are not allowed. The school committing dishonest in filling PDSS would not be included in the implementation SNMPTN for the coming years.
“If there is fraud, they will not be punished by Unpad but will have their allocation slot transferred to other schools, “said Dudi.
The event was opened by Head of Education of Kuningan Regency, Drs. Taufik A. Rohman, M.Si, M.Pd. During the event, Taufik expressed hope that Unpad Nyaah ka Jabar Program that is being promoted by Unpad will improve Human Development Index, especially related to education. Currently, the Compulsory 9-year Basic Education program has not yet been 100% fulfilled in Kuningan Regency.
“Hopefully, (students of) High School in the Kuningan Regency could continue their education in Universitas Padjadjaran because Unpad is one of the greatest universities in Indonesia,” he said.
In Cirebon Regency, socialization was held in SMK 1 Mundu. The event was conducted by Director of Governance and Public Communication Unpad, Dr. Soni Akhmad Nulhaqim, S.Sos., M.Si., Dean of Faculty of Communication (Fikom), Dr. Dadang Rahmat Hidayat, SH., S.Sos., Msi, and Representation of Team of SMUP, Muchtaridi, PhD.*
