Encouraging Enterpreneur Growth, Unpad Held Boot Camp of Acceleration Innovation

[Unpad.ac.id, 2/09/2016] 44 participants followed Technopreneurship Boot Camp of Acceleration Innovation at Bale Atikan or Unpad Training Center, Jalan Ir. H. Djuanda No. 4 Bandung, 22-24 August 2016. This event was held by cooperation of Directorate of Innovation, Academic Corporation, and Business Universitas Padjadjaran with Technology Innovation Foundation Indonesia (Inotek) to encourage the growth of new technopreneur.

Boot Camp of Acceleration Innovation featured structured and systematic workshops. Starting with idea mining, idea validation, and creating business model as reference for the future business.

The workshop was guided by academicians and practicioners in business and innovation, among other Tubagus Fiki Chikara Satari S.E., M.M., Dipl. A.E as lecturer of Faculty of Economics and Business Unpad as the Head of Bandung Creative City Forum, Kukuh Indra Prasena as the Director of Young Entrepreneurs Academy Indonesia, Bezie Galih Manggala, the CEO of Pananyaan Business Training and Consultant, and Totok Pujianto, Ir.MT and Dr. Dwi Purnomo from Departement of Agriculture Industrial Technology Faculty of Agriculture Industrial Technology (FTIP) Unpad. During the event, several mentors from The Local Enablers – Jatinangor Creative Forum were present to accompany the idea mining and business validation.

In this event, the participants were divided into 14 groups to create idea and business models to be launched. The participants were from many Study Program in Unpad such as Agriculture Industrial Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Agrotechnology, Agribusiness, and Business Administration.

On the last day, the participants presented their business model in front of the judges. Acting as judges were Prof.Dr.Ir.H.Roni Kastaman, MSIE and Ir. H. Totok Pujianto M.T. from FTIP Unpad, and also Diyanto Imam as the Excecutive Director of Inotek Foundation.

Diyanto Imam mentioned his appreciation for Unpad reception in the event of Technopreneurship Boot Camp. Hopefully this event could support all innovation stages to help create entrepreneur ecosystem based on supporting science and technology. He also hoped that this event would garner sci-tech business ideas that could be quickly and precisely implemented.

Based on the judging, three best groups were:

  1. Hi-jave, with members Elni Hazar Indriantin, Deuis Andini Meiliana Putri, and Melvina Nur Sabrina from Agriculture Industrial Technology.
  2. Co, with members Muhammad Fauzi (Agrotechnology), Andrian Nur Ramadan (Agribusiness) and Muhammad Mas’ud (Agriculture Engineering).
  3. Creez Up, with members Nurlela Sari, Indriani, and Noviyanti Isnaeni from Business Administration.*
