“There are 106 universities attending this event and representing Indonesia from Aceh to Papua. It is the most important aspect, how each region and each university can be represented in national-level competition,” Tatang said. Tatang added that Pimnas’ participants are the best talents in Indonesia. University students, particularly the winners, were expected to keep improving their achievements.
Tatang also stated that every Pimnas participant who attended the event can be considered the best, whether they receive a medal or not. Tatang mentioned that every participant’s name would be registered to the national database of National Talent Management.
“It is only the beginning, not the end of the road in becoming a talent in research and innovation,” explained Tatang.

The Rector of Unpad also hoped that the established friendship from Pimnas would not stop there and would always go on. Unpad as the host of the 36th Pimnas could learn a lot from the scientific works displayed and presented at the event.
