Fukoka University Center for International Programs proposes the International Seminar in 2013, and seek the possibility to invite the student from partner universities in Asia with which Fukoka University has established sister-university relationship. This seminar focuses on the group study in the specific field, the discussion and the presentation in collaboration with (more interactively study with) Fukoka University students.
Eligibility:
The student who is registered as regular students in undergraduate courses at Fukoka University’s sister universities in China, Taiwan, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Nepal, and Malaysia, and has never participated in the student exchange programs ( the stydy-abroad to Japan) and/or short-term language program taking place in Japan in the past. (We’d like to give an opportunity to those who have desired to come to learn Japan, but never got a chance).
The student is required to have Japanese language proficiency (higher than basic level), because group study, discussion, and presentation is conducted in Japanese in principle.
Also it is desirable that he/she has the English proficiency.
Period of Seminar:
Ten days for the period from October 22, 2013 (arriving in Fukoka) – November 1, 2013 (departing to home countries).
Grants:
- Round trip between the international airport nearest home institution and Fukoka Airport
- Transfers to and from Fukoka International Airport
- 10 nights accommodation, meals
- Tuition fees (tentatively 3 classes on things Japanese planned)
- All class materials
- Field trip and cultural activities
