[Unpad.ac.id, 30/01/2013] A number of Unpad students are going to London International Model United Nation (LIMUN) and Harvard Model United Nation (HMUN), two events that host thousands of participants worldwide. This is the second year that Unpad students are taking part in the simulation programs.

LIMUN 2013 will be held in Central Hall Westminster and Imperial College, London, England on February 15-17, 2013. As many as 1,500 student delegates from various international universities will participate.
Having organized a very tight selection, Unpad is sending 16 delegates to LIMUN, namely Annisaa Rahmi Said (Fikom 2010), Audia Syafa’atur Rahman (FEB 2009), Bryan Zaharia (FEB 2011), Cesara Roesselin (FEB 2009), Citra Kumala (FEB 2011), Daniel Doloksaribu (FH 2009), Eka Novia Endriany (Faperta 2009), Fuad Arrasyid (Fikom 2009), Jessica Krisheila (FISIP 2011), Leo Chris Evan Sinulingga (FH 2009), Ludwina Nofrida (FH 2011), M. They will have to actively participate in a series of events in each committee and discussion that each committee holds with specific topics related to the millennium development goals. The discussions will result in resolutions that United Nation would normally produce.
The program is very rewarding for it enables the students to practice their English, public speaking skill, and negotiating skills. In addition, they will gain knowledge on detailed information of the countries they are representing.

This proves that Indonesia has the potential to be active in global competition and to give benefits to the society at large.
