[Unpad.ac.id, 18/02/2013] UPT e-Learning Unpad recently gathered as many as 87 online teaching modules and 85 manuals from a number of Unpad faculties. They were launched officially on Monday by the rector to be widely used in upcoming semesters. In addition to launching session, the event also included the introduction of Virtual Based Learning (Vabel) as a medium for learning and sharing form UPT e-Learning and public lecture via video-conference on Introduction to Psychology by Dr. Rismiyati E. Koesma.
“I really appreciate all lecturers who have made all modules. We are going to make them accessible via e-Learning to enrich our knowledge and the public,” said the rector. That being said, the modules are required to be written well, putting emphasis on quality and comprehensiveness. Since public will also be able to access all of the modules, they can give contribution to the improvement of the modules should they still be wanting.
Online publication like this will show the accountability and transparence of all faculties’ competence in their respective disciplines. According to Jenny Ratna Suminar, all modules and the facility in which the modules can be accessed will be continuously improved.
