University Students To Contribute to the Positive Condition of Indonesian Politics

[Unpad.ac.id, 22/03/2013] The vice chairman of Indonesian House of Representatives, who is also the head of Unpad Graduate Student Association, Priyo Budi Santoso, spoke at the inauguration of newly elected members of BEM, BPM, HMJ, and KKM of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) on Friday (22/03) in the Auditorium Bale Santika in Jatinangor.

Also present in the event were the director of Student and Alumni Development Office, Hermawan Kemal Mustafa, the Dean of FISIP, Asep Kartiwa, and Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Rudy Heryadi, and 146 members of BEM, BPM, HMJ, and KKM from Diploma III and S1 Programs as well as graduate programs.

Speaking on the roles of students to face Indonesian political condition in 2014, Santoso argued that students should become more critical and proactive in collectively contributing to the betterment of Indonesian politics. Organizing events that involve national political figures can help give motivation to students to contribute to Indonesia.
