[Unpad.ac.id, 3/06/2013] On Monday (03/06), Unpad and Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), represented by the rector, Ganjar Kurnia, and the president director of BTN, Maryono, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Executive Lounger Unpad Rectorate Building in Jatinangor.

According to Maryono, the MoU is to extend the partnership programs that Unpad and BTN have been running, including online tuition and operational financial management in Unpad. “We are aiming at becoming one stop service provider for Unpad,” said he. In doing so, BTN is now offering business financing and investment on campus facilities, laboratory, scholarship endowment, etc.
The programs are highly appreciated by the rector who has accordingly offered the bank to open an outlet in campus in addition to offering housing financing for Unpad lecturers and staff for many of them have yet to have their own house. “So, opportunity is wide open for Unpad lecturers and staff since BTN is now giving service on housing finance,” said he.
As for scholarship, BTN is endowing scholarship fund in the amount of Rp. 22 million, symbolically handed in to the rector, before the deans, faculties, and heads of division in Unpad as well as BTN board of directors and commissary.
