“Clinical and academic competences are not enough for a doctor. They also must be mentally capable,” said Dr. Yoni.
Meanwhile, dr. Andri focused on the development of FK in supporting Unpad to become a world-class university. In addition, he attempted to continue improving the quality of medicinal education and services as cooperated with Hasan Sadikin General Hospital and the Ministry of Health. Through his program, dr. Focusing on academic health center, Dr. Yudi Mulyana expressed his expectation for FK Unpad as a multiple model for medicinal education. In order to achieve it, he argued that there should be a synergy between FK Unpad and related stakeholders.
Meanwhile, Dr. Yudi presented a model named “Tata Surya” or “Solar System” representing Unpad as a world-class university that attracted stakeholders from hospitals as FK Unpad’s core business to join the orbit with the Faculty as the center in order to achieve excellence.
““FK Unpad would become the center of excellence and we would extrapolate this to the community,” said dr. Andri.
Other candidiate, Dr. Herry, supported accreditation goals for all study programs in FK. The accreditation was not only national-based, but also in the international level. This achievement was one of his ideas related to performance evaluation of Dean of FK Unpad.
“For accreditation, we would encourage the heads of study program to gain support for international accreditation,” said he.
Candidate Prof. Dr. Dany Hilmanto delivered his presentation named “Walagri” defined as strengthening leadership for every individual in FK Unpad. “The Faculty resorts to the development of West Java; therefore, we should start with improving the lives of the West Javanese people, then Indonesians,” said Prof. Dany.*
