Head of General Administration Bureau Unpad Slamet Suprapto, S. Sos., M.M. said that contract signing was a regulation continuation between prospective employees with Unpad. Before following selection process, prospective employees have signed on as contract workers with work units in Unpad.

“The contract is no longer made between prospective employees with the work unit or faculty. The contract is done directly with Unpad, “Slamet said during the contract signing event.

Contract of Work Evaluation was adjusted to results of prospective employee assessment conducted in December 2015. Of the selection process, four groups of prospective employees who meet the requirements were generated. A total of 72 prospective employees was categorized into group A and B, 73 prospective employee into group C, and 279 prospective employees into group D.

As reported previously, prospective employees of group A and B would undergo evaluation period of PUNPNS work for one year. While prospective employees in group C would undergo an evaluation period of work for 8 months before trial of PUNPNS. The group D employee candidates must undergo an evaluation of work for 4 months to move up to group C.

According to Slamet, the evaluation contract was tailored to the group type. For group A, if assessment for the evaluation of an otherwise good job, they will immediately be a PUNPNS. As for group C and D would be re-signed if the PUNPNS evaluation at evaluation time was assessed good work

“For payroll, prospective employees get 80% of salary specified count,” said Slamet.

All the candidates employees would be evaluated every four months. Assessment would be done either by officials or officials of Trustees Personnel working in the asisigned unit. “For groups C and D, trial might be prolonged after the four months evaluation,” said Slamet.

With the signing of contract, prospective temporary employees would be assigned in their unit. Slamet said in the future Unpad will rotate their working positions in accordance with the briefing conducted last January 16.

Shall prospective employees, Slamet said, have good skills on current work unit and unit selected, Unpad would support their various skills through candidates training.

With this contract, prospective employees were expected to work more optimally. “Prospective employees are expected to work more comfortable, providing the best service to academic community and society,” said Slamet.

PUNPNS Structuring
The Signing Contract of Work Evaluation would also complement data for non-civil servant manpower in Unpad. Slamet said that at the moment Unpad still has not owned specific data on number of non-civil education personnel.

“With selection and contract signing, we gathered data of how many non-civil-owned power Unpad. Furthermore, this will also be done for non-civil servant lecturers, “he said.

In addition to civil servant manpower, Unpad currently has regular Unpad Public Service Agency (BLU) as well as the candidates PUNPNS manpower. Referring to Law No. 5 Year 2015 on State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Unpad Public Service Agency (BLU) as well as the candidates PUNPNS manpower would be the workforce applied by the Government Employees Work Agreement (PPPK).

In Article I, and 7 it was explained that PPPK workers were employees appointed under employment agreement for a certain period of time in order to carry out government duties. PPPK raised through agreements with officials of Trustees Personnel agencies as needed. *
