The Jatinangor anniversary was celebrated by convening Sundanese culture procession, especially traditional culture that originated in Sumedang. The cultural performances include Reak, Kukudaan, and Oray Liong.

Among the three performance, Oray Liong drew interests and questions. According to Robi as one of Oray Liong players, this art was an original art from Sumedang, which has existed since 1945.

At first glance this performance looked similar to Chinese lion dance, similar in the use of the form of the serpent or dragon. The difference was the musical instruments, colors, and the use of orbs in Oray Liong. Oray was green dragon, accompanied by musical instruments using dog-dog, with orbs to direct the movement of Oray Liong (leader).

It was unfortunate that this performance was not widely known by the public. Only a handful of people knew about Liong Oray performance, mainly within local communities Jatinangor only. Oray Liong was one art that should receive more attention, especially from younger generation and government to survive. Moreover, this art could also be potential performing arts besides Angklung, Tarawangsa, Reak, and many other. *
