[Unpad.ac.id, 11/04/2016] Bale Balantik Unpad as forum for creativity development of academic community and society of Universitas Padjadjaran in Bandung is one year old on Sunday (10/04). The building located in Jalan Cisangkuy No. 62, Bandung was established in Unpad cooperation with Bank Mandiri.
In a press release received by Unpad Public Relations, within one year many activities of trading have occurred in Bale Balantik. They include: coaching and mentoring tenant start up, organizing business seminars and workshops, and exhibition and bazaar featuring variety of creative products.
Celebrating one year of establishment, events were held at Bale Balantik, Sunday (10/04). Various events with main theme of “Balantik Kahiji” started since morning with crafts workshop with participants of diffable and orphans children, tausyiah led by Ustad Erick Joseph, discussing the “Blessing of Joint Syariah Business”, and holding as door prizes and announcement of winners creative product title contest.
The event was attended by Director of Innovation, Corporate Academic, and Business Unpad Prof. Dr. Tualar Simarmata, Ir., M.S., Head of Academic Administrative Bureau Unpad Drs. Sudarma, MM., and Head of Center for Research and Development Business Incubator Unpad Dr. Asep Mulyana, Head of Supervision KUMKM Department West Java Ir. Syariful Yusda, MM, and president of Rotary Club Bandung Ibu Sri Susiagawati.
Participants of the event were from tenant relations, Community SME Coet Mother, Community with disabilities, representatives of children’s orphanage and several other creative communities.
Since inaugurated by the 10th Rector of Unpad Prof. Ganjar Kurnia last year, Bale Balantik has trained 85 tenants, both derived from Unpad academic community as well as from various communities in Bandung and West Java. These activities were headed by Dr. Asep.
