[Unpad.ac.id, 7/04/2016] Universitas Padjadjaran through Directorate of Governance and Public Communication and subdivision of Governance, Administration, and Legal held a Socialization and Implementation of Rector Regulations re Archives in Bale Rumawat Unpad, Jln. Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung, Thursday (7/04). The event was attended by Unit Chairpersons, Head of SPM, Manager of Governance and Resources for Faculty and Graduate School, Head of Department, and Head of Unit within the Division of Padjadjaran University.

During the socialialization, Head of Governance, Administration and Law, Dra. Heni Suryaningsih, M.I.Kom said there were at least nine Rector Regulations concerning the management of archives published since 2014. However, in several units and faculty, many of them have not been properly implementing these regulations.

“On this occasion we invited leaders, for them to implement and practiced the regulations with better view of how to manage these archives,” said Heni.

Heni said that a number of these regulations has been published on Unpad website. One of Rector Regulation related to archival is the Rector Regulation No. 60 of 2014 on Management of Environmental Archives at Universitas Padjadjaran University.

In addition, the socialization also discussed Rector Regulation No. 2 of 2015 on Pattern of Classification Archive Facilitative in Universitas Padjadjaran, Rector Regulation No. 3 of 2015 on Pattern of Clarification Archive Substantive in Universitas Padjadjaran, Rector Regulation No. 4 of 2015 on Guidelines Preparation of Archives at Work Unit in Universitas Padjadjaran, Rector Regulation No. 5 of 2015 on Implementation Guidelines for Development of Archival Padjadjaran, Rector Regulation No. 6 of 2015 concerning Retention Archive Schedule (JRA) Substantive in Universitas Padjadjaran, Regulation Rector No. 7 of 2015 on JRA Facilitative on Non-Finance and Personnel in Unpad Rector Regulation No. 8 of 2015 on JRA in Finance Facilitation Universitas Padjadjaran University, and Rector Regulation No. 9 of 2015 on Employment JRA in Unpad.

“In the future these activities will be routinely held.,” said Heni.

The speakers on this event were Head of Archives Unit, Dr. H. Nandang Alamsyah Deliarnoor, S.H., M.Hum., discussing regulatory agencies and archives at Universitas Padjadjaran. He explained that archival institutions duties and responsibilities in universities were to manage archives of work unit and academicians in universities, as well as to provide guidance for work unit of archival work units and academics in university.*
