[Unpad.ac.id, 10/08/2016] All participants of the 29th National Student Science Week (Pimnas) have completed their Student Creativity Program presentations at the House of Common Class Room Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB). The presentations were conducted over two days, Tuesday (9/8) and Wednesday (10/08), divided in each class according to the scheme followed PKM.
“Unpad Presentations met no obstacle, since we’ve done the preparation activity,” said Head of Delegation Pimnas Unpad, Dr. Iman Hernaman, M.Si.
Dr. Iman also appreciated all performances of the participants. According to him, all participants Pimnas deserves to be champions, not as Unpad team but also against other participants who also competed in this event. The most important thing was that team Unpad has already trying to do their best. He also hoped that the achievements of Unpad in Pimnas this year is, at least, to be in top ten rankings.
“We admit that our friends from other universities have a good preparation. Perhaps since this is a very prestigious competition, they prepared the best they can.. In essence, our chances is 50:50. Our hope at least we achieved same achievement as previous years, in the top ten, “said Dr. Iman.
One team Unpad, Saung Kaulinan Waos, Umi Latifah, Indria Nadhifa Shofiadena, Shekarwangi Rosabella, Devi Rezki, and Rio Alfajri, said they are happy that now they have completed their presentations.
“God knows we have given our best. Win or lose, we have been trying our best, “said Indria Nadhifa Shofiadena, or familiarly called Shofi.
According to Shofi and the team, Pimnas is not the end of their creativity, but a just a beginning. After Pimnas there will be many other related PKM agendas, namely training in dental health in communities in a number of areas in various cities. They expected to achieve medal in this event, and could promote their program to the public.
They also said to be pleased to have competed in Pimnas, and would like to invite other Unpad students to submit a proposal PKM. “To my friends in Unpad, it is a good experience to participate in Pimnas. In addition we learned a lot from both from the contests and then for the community, “said Shofi. *
