[Unpad.ac.id, 26/08/2016] Universitas Padjadjaran will hold international event entitled “Global Insight and International Day 2016” in Rectorate Building Unpad Jatinangor on Tuesday 30 August 2016.
This activity is held in order to increase the internationalization of Universitas Padjadjaran and also as a series of events commemorating the 59th anniversary of University Padjadjaran. This event consists of two parts, namely:
1. Cultural and Culinary Day, which aims to recognize and understand the culture of one’s own country as well as to appreciate and respect the cultural differences of other’s countries. It is a global mindset competency that must be possessed by students of Unpad as a potential leader of the world level in the future. This event will feature representatives of foreign students from 15 countries studying in Unpad.
2. Unpad Insight and Global Opportunity, which aims to improve the network of cooperation for mutual benefit. Hopefully, the leaders of the faculty, lecturers, and students can directly communicate with universities and donors from abroad to obtain much information about the development and exploration of academic cooperation activities.
In this event, a total of 19 representatives of foreign universities as well as five donors scholarship and research grants as LPDP, DAAD, Nuffic-Neso, Newton Fund and IFI France will be present to provide presentation and information about study opportunities and the development of cooperation academic.
Approximately 100 international students of Universitas Padjadjaran will participate in the international exhibition and culinary culture. They will open a booth of their country, and will be a window of cultural information for students of other countries.
