[Unpad.ac.id, 22/09/2016] A total of 51 candidates for Unpad’s Educational Laboratory Administrator (PLP) for non-civil servant status took part in the Orientation for Unpad PLP Candidates Batch I at Unpad Training Center (Bale Atikan), Unpad, Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 4 Bandung, starting on Thursday (22/09) to Saturday (24/9). Also attended the training were 16 civil servant PLPs, 34 non-civil servant PLPs, and 34 Unpad’s non-civil servant personnels stationed at PLP.

“This is a series of orientation for PLPs that has been designed for one year,” said the Director of Human Resources of Unpad, Diana Sari, SE, M.Mgt., Ph.D. when met during the activity.
Diana said that the orientation was a mandatory for the candidates . The orientation for PLP candidates itself will be conducted for one year in which the trainings will be decided into several batches. The trainings are expected to build PLP networks in Unpad.
“(The orientation) is to adjust perception of the tasks and functions of PLPs as well as to introduce future career path,” said Diana.
Speaking in the first batch training was Head of Sub Directorate of Professional Career; Team Secretary of Credit Rate Assessment, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, National Accreditation Committee, and Unpad Human Resources Team.
The materials presented in this activity included the main tasks and functions of PLPs in improving the service quality of laboratory, guidelines for PLP credit number and their career path, laboratory accreditation, regulation and work ethic, as well as materials on Unpad. *
