To Discuss ASEAN Collaboration, Professors and Students of Japan Kwansei Gakuin Visited University Padjadjaran

[Unpad.ac.id, 5/09/2016] As for part ASEAN Project activities, three professors and seven students of Kwansei Gakuin University Japan visited Universitas Padjadjaran. The group was received by the Rector Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad in Rector Room, Iwa Koesoemasoemantri Unpad campus, Jln. Dipati Ukur No. 35 Bandung, Monday (5/11).

Rector welcomed the visit and said that cooperation between the two sides has lasted a long time. He also hoped the group from Kwansei Gakuin University can carry out all its activities in Unpad well.

On the occasion, Rector also hoped that the cooperation is not only between universities in Indonesia and Japan. In the future, it is hoped the visit will be conducted with the involvement of the business sector.

“Now cooperation needs to be developed between universities and businesses with universities and businesses,” said Rector.

From Universitas Padjadjaran also attending were Prof. Yanyan Mochamad Yani of the Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) and Handarto, Ph.D from the Faculty of Agricultural Industrial Technology, as well as a number of students following the Unpad student exchange program at Kwansei Gakuin University.

In addition to Indonesia, ASEAN related visit Project also made in a number of other ASEAN countries, which will last until mid-September. Earlier, in the early to mid-August 2016, the event was held at Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan, with students from a number of countries in ASEAN.*
