[Unpad.ac.id, 29/11/2016] A total of 10 lecturers in program of Lecturer Internship Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) RI have completed their internship at Universitas Padjadjaran. During the four-month internship, the lecturers said they have experienced various activities of the three responsibilities of Higher Education and administration in Unpad.

The leader of Lecturer Internship group at Unpad, Laga Yudha Kusuma Hadi, said the internship experience at Padjadjaran University has its own uniqueness. As the state university as legal entity, many of Unpad’s activities are based on aspects of autonomy so that Unpad has a distinctive difference in running the organization with other universities.
“With autonomy, the campus has its own policy so that the disparity is high. This disparity could lead to the different development of human resources, “said Yudha duringt the closing Internship Program Unpad Lecturer in Bale Sawala Rectorate Building Jatinangor, Tuesday (29/11).
In the closing ceremony, attending were Secretary to the Director of Education and Student Affairs Unpad, Ahmad Baehaqi, S.Si., M.T., Secretary of the Directorate of Education and Library Resources Drs. Sudarma, M.M, Vice Dean of FISIP Unpad, Dr. Raharjo Tri Santoso, S. Sos., M.Sc., as well as a number of staff of the Directorate of Education and Student Affairs Unpad.
This lecturer at the Polytechnic Health Nursing Majapahit said that during the four months the company learned a lot about the activities of teaching, research, and service in Unpad. From these observations, the research aspect is precisely a key in developing learning and devotion.
“Everything is based on research. Research will support learning and generate theories. This learning later that can be used for the benefit of society, “said Yudha.
In addition to learning, Lecturer Internship program also fosters interpersonal relations and networking. Met with professors from various universities in Indonesia could be the beginning of building a connection between institutions, both in the field of research, as well as other cooperation.

Such connections, said Yudha, can also be utilized for the development of the capacity of lecturers in the future. He encouraged the lecturer interns to continue their studies to increase their capacity. He also hoped Unpad can open up opportunities for professors to continue their studies intern who attended a similar program.
Similar with Yudha, Ahmad said that Lecturer Internship program is expected not just the annual ceremony, but also a means to obtain input for the future development of Padjadjaran University.
“Not only Unpad that provides feedback, but also the faculty internship can provide feedback in order to bring about change and hopefully get a lot better,” said Ahmad.
Chief Executive Internship Program Lecturer Unpad, Noladhi Wicaksana, PhD, said that ten lecturers were received by Unpad intern on August 6. For four months, the lecturers had participated in various activities Tridharma and some work units in Unpad.
The lecturers also have implemented an internship program at the faculty. This year the faculty internship is spread across three faculties, namely Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Nursing, and Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
“We set lecturers internship to be involved in PMB and graduation activities. They saw also how the implementation of the program and curriculum HITS transformative,” said Noladhi.
Unpad has become college coaches in Lecturer Internship program for twelve rounds. This program is aimed at improving the competence and expanding the horizons of young lecturers related to the world of work lecturer, university management, as well as networking with senior lecturer at the visited university. *
