This activity is one form of cooperation between Unpad and Tenri University which has been established for dozens of years. In this activity, Unpad became the only university from Indonesia that sent its delegation.

For one year, Alfin and Syerli will learn about Japanese language and culture. As representatives of Unpad, Alfin and Syerli have the aim to conduct “knowledge sharing”, because they will not only interact with students from Japan, but also with other international students who take part in this program. It is hoped that international students will get to know Indonesia and are also interested in coming to Indonesia.

“This is certainly a great opportunity for me to be able to actualize myself to adapt to various differences. In addition, of course I will carry out a mission there, which is to show Indonesian culture to students or the surrounding community, “Alfin said in a release received by Unpad PR.

Meanwhile, Syerli said that this program is expected to support her aspiration to become a teacher of Japanese in Indonesia. For Syerli, this opportunity will be used to further deepen knowledge about Japan both in terms of language, culture and the lives of its people. *
