[Unpad Media Channel] Four Professors of Universitas Padjadjaran participated the Appointment Ceremony and Academic Oration for the Professorship that was held at Grha Sanusi Hardjadinata Unpad, Iwa Koesoemasoemantri Campus, Bandung, Wednesday (6/12/2023).
The ceremony was held to appoint four new professors from the Faculty of Geological Engineering. It was opened by the Rector of Unpad, Prof. Rina Indiastuti, and led by the Chairperson of the Professor Council, Prof. Arief Anshory Yusuf.
The four Professors were Prof. Dr. Ir. Ildrem Syafri, DEA; Prof. Euis Tintin Yuningsih, M.T., PhD; Prof. Dr. Ir. Vijaya Isnaniawardhani, M.T; and Prof. Dr. Winantris, M.S.
Prof. Ildrem was appointed as a Professor in the field of Petrology. At that ceremony, Prof. Ildrem delivered an academic oration entitled “Understanding Basement Rocks as Hydrocarbon Reservoirs for the Increase of Oil and Gas Production in Indonesia”
Prof. Euis was appointed as a Professor in the field of Geology of Mineral Resources and delivered an academic oration titled “Metal Mineral Resources and the Development of Exploration Methods for Mineral Deposits in Indonesia”
Prof. Vijaya was appointed as a Professor in the field of Biostratigraphy and delivered an academic oration titled “Quantitative Biostratigraphy in the Management of Natural Resources and the Environment”
Prof. Winantris was appointed as a Professor in the field of Palynology and delivered an academic oration titled “Palynomorphs as Age and Environmental Indicators in the Depositional Environment of the Sandstone Unit of the Ciletuh Formation, Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu Geopark” (arm/SA)*
