[Unpad Media Channel] As many as 20 students from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Padjadjaran achieve scholarships from Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia. The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unpad Dr. Ir. Rahmat Hidayat, M.Si., and the Secretary General of the Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia Andi Magdalena Siadari, signed cooperation agreements to provide sustainable scholarship at the Building 5 Auditorium of Fapet Unpad, Monday (26/2/2024).
On that occasion, Rahmat appreciates the scholarship support from the Charoen Pokphand Foundation to 20 students from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry. The scholarships will be given to students until they finish their undergraduate studies.
“With scholarships from the Charoen Pokphand Foundation, it is very helpful for the smooth advancement of the student’s studies and the scholarship until the student graduates as a Bachelor of Animal Science,” he said.
Moreover, Jusmini Jusran from Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia said that the scholarship provision was a part of Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia’s CSR program for 22 higher educations in Indonesia.
Hopefully, this cooperation will enhance the positive contribution of Charoen Pokphand Indonesia in improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
“The cooperation with Unpad starts with the development of the Close House cage. We want to enhance the cooperation by providing scholarships (to students). In the future, the cooperation can be advanced in the research field and can be used in our animal husbandry industry,” he mentioned.
Aside from the provision of scholarships, Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia also delivers a public lecture in front of students from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unpad. The public lecture is presented by the Marketing Manager of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Poultry Equipment Division Nugroho Dwi Sasongko. (released/SA)*
