[Unpad Media Channel] Finder Unpad has reaffirmed its strong commitment to providing sustainable, technology-based solutions for the packaging industry by participating in Allpack Indonesia 2024: The 23rd International Exhibition on Processing, Packaging, Automation, Handling for Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and Cosmetic industries. This annual event, held on October 10th, 2024, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, showcases the latest innovations and technologies in the packaging and processing industry.
Featuring exhibitors from 25 countries, the event included a talk show under the theme “Indonesia is Ready: Understanding Powder Processing for Various Sustainable Packaging Industries and Insights into Realistic Business Models,” which highlighted sustainable innovations, including powder processing technology.
“This technology is highly suitable for addressing challenges in the modern packaging sector, where sustainability is a top priority,” stated Prof. Dr. Eng. I Made Joni, Head of Finder Unpad and a speaker at the event, presenting on “Powder Process Technology in Sustainable Packaging Innovation.” Prof. Joni explained that powder processing technology is poised to offer major solutions for creating more eco-friendly and efficient packaging. This technology optimizes material usage, reduces waste, and produces more durable packaging solutions.
Additional speakers included Prof. Dr. Eng. Camellia Panatarani, a Finder Unpad expert, who presented on “Indonesia’s Natural Resources and Biodegradable Film Processing,” and Tri Yudianto, Finder Unpad expert and moderator, who explored the business relationship between Baiyo and Finder Unpad. Willy D. Liusan, CEO of Baiyo, contributed with his presentation, “Beyond Indonesia: Baiyo-degradable Plastics for the World.”
At the event, Finder Unpad also collaborated with Baiyo to advance sustainable-focused processing technology solutions. This partnership underscores the critical synergy between research and industry in developing innovative, globally competitive products prioritizing sustainability.
