Unpad Visits Lampung, Establishes Partnerships with Various Institutions

[Unpad Media Channel] Universitas Padjadjaran engaged in a series of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement signings with various stakeholders in Lampung. The activities were part of the “Universitas Padjadjaran Greets Alumni in Lampung” program, supported by the Unpad Alumni Association of Lampung. The delegation from Unpad visited the Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD) of Lampung and the Universitas Lampung (Unila) campus in Bandar Lampung on Thursday, November 14th, 2024,

“We can collaborate on various initiatives, such as research projects and downstream of research outcomes. Unpad is also ready to assist the DPRD of Lampung in developing its human resources and contributing to the province’s development,” said the Rector of Unpad.

Following the visit to the DPRD, the delegation proceeded to Universitas Lampung, where multiple cooperation agreements were signed, and they participated in a seminar titled “The Future of Doctors with Artificial Intelligence Towards a 2045 Golden Indonesia.” The event was jointly organized by Unila, RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Hospital, and the Unpad Alumni Association of Lampung. Prof. Arief served as the keynote speaker at the seminar, while the Dean of Unpad’s Faculty of Medicine presented insights on the Academic Health System.

“University graduates must not only possess strong academic competencies but also adapt to rapid technological advancements. This seminar provides an excellent platform to exchange knowledge on applying artificial intelligence in the medical field,” remarked Unila Rector Prof. Lusmeilia Afriani.

During the visit to Universitas Lampung, Unpad signed an MoU with Unila and RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Provincial Hospital. Additionally, faculty-level cooperation agreements between Unpad and Unila were also finalized.

The following day, Friday, November 15th, 2024, at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Bandar Lampung, Unpad signed further agreements with various organizations. These included a collaboration between Unpad’s Faculty of Economics and Business with Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and Politeknik Negeri Lampung.

Unpad also signed MoUs with the Institut Informatika dan Bisnis Darmajaya, Generasi Pesona Indonesia (GenPi) Lampung, Payungi University, the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) of Lampung, Zam Neuro Center, Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Sumatera (Itera), the Lampung branch of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi), the DPRD Lampung, and PT Great Giant Pineapple.
