[Unpad Media Channel] The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) has honored 24 universities in Indonesia as Top BRIN Collaborators for their joint publications during the 2021–2024 period. Universitas Padjadjaran ranks 5th with a total of 466 scholarly outputs.
“BRIN extends its highest appreciation for the active role and extraordinary contributions in joint publication collaborations during the 2021–2024 period. These collaborations through various research efforts have resulted in high-quality publications that positively impact research and innovation development,” stated Prakoso Bhairawa Putera, the Head of the Planning and Finance Bureau, in a letter dated January 3rd, 2025.
On this occasion, BRIN also give awards to three Unpad’s professors as “Top Co-authors Unpad-BRIN”, namely Prof. Unang Supratman (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), Prof. Rani Maharani (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), and Dr. Efri Mardawati (Faculty of Agricultural Industrial Technology).
In the Top BRIN Collaborator rankings, Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) leads with 1,131 scholarly works, followed by Universitas Indonesia (UI) with 871, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) with 823, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) with 747, and Unpad.
The universities completing the Top 10 list of highest collaborators are Universitas Diponegoro, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas), and Universitas Airlangga (Unair).*
