[Unpad Media Channel] Sahwahita Raisya Putri Ariwibowo, a Marine Science student at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) at Universitas Padjadjaran, won the 3rd place in the Poster & Presentation Competition as part of the 2025 NUS Young Fellowship Program 2025 held at the National University of Singapore (NUS) from June 23rd to 27th, 2025.
During the event, Sahwahita presented a project titled “How Gen AI Changes PhD Studies in the Aspect of Assisted Peer Review,” which explored the role of generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) in enhancing transparency, efficiency, and fairness in the peer review process, particularly in doctoral research. The project was presented in both poster and oral presentation formats, assessed by a panel of esteemed professors, and showcased before the President of NUS, academics, and international participants.
Her project stood out for its originality, analytical depth, and impactful delivery, garnering significant attention amidst a highly competitive field of participants from various disciplines. Sahwahita successfully conveyed a critical and constructive perspective on the integration of AI technology in scientific processes.
The NUS Young Fellowship Program is a fully funded initiative organized by the NUS Graduate School, offering a month-long intensive academic experience for outstanding undergraduate students. This year’s theme focused on “AI and PhD Research.”
Sahwahita’s participation and achievement in this prestigious program reflect FPIK Universitas Padjadjaran’s commitment to supporting students in contributing to international forums and addressing global challenges through a transdisciplinary approach.
