[Unpad Media Channel] The Ambassador of Mongolia to Indonesia, H.E. Enkhtaivan Dashnyam, pays an official visit to Universitas Padjadjaran on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing the quality of education and research in both Mongolia and Indonesia. The meeting takes place in the Rector’s Office at Unpad, Jl. Dipati Ukur No. 35, Bandung.
“The primary purpose of our visit is to build cooperation in the field of education. We hope to establish collaboration in the form of scholarships or student exchange programs between Unpad and Mongolia,” said the Ambassador Enkhtaivan.
The Rector of Unpad, Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, warmly welcomed the visit and expressed his hope for continued discussions with Mongolian higher education institutions to formulate concrete plans for collaboration. He emphasized that such cooperation could significantly contribute to improving the quality of education in both countries.
“We believe this partnership will be beneficial for both Indonesia and Mongolia. We look forward to initiating discussions with our potential partner universities to develop a plan for future collaboration,” said the Rector.
The Rector of Unpad further explained that potential areas of cooperation include not only student exchanges, but also joint research, academic publications, and guest lectures by faculty members. Additionally, he encourages the inclusion of cultural exchange programs to strengthen people-to-people connections between students from both countries.
“This collaboration will be mutually beneficial—both for Mongolia and for Indonesian students. It serves as an excellent way to strengthen the relationship between our nations,” added Prof. Arief.
Also present during the visit are the Conculate of Mongolia, Nyamdorj Chuluunbaatar; Unpad Vice Rector for Research, Collaboration, and Marketing, Prof. Rizky Abdulah, S.Si., Apt., Ph.D.; and Head of the Office of International Affairs, Anggia Utami Dewi, S.IP., M.IS., Ph.D.
Through this dialogue, Universitas Padjadjaran hopes to play a key role in strengthening Indonesia–Mongolia relations through future educational cooperation.
